To DIY, or not to DIY

In many parts of the world, at this time of year, people find themselves with time on their hands; hiking is definitely not the top of anyone’s list as sleet pours from the skies, for example.

Take this time to DIY—at least if you reasonably can—and be honest about your own capabilities.  Also, take care if your DIY option might seem sort of “out there” to others and you plan to try to sell soon.

Research with art indicates we have a special fondness for pieces we create ourselves, and broadening this preference for homemade is logical.
