Green Buildings are Worth More! – “Science News”

So yes, the news we’ve all been waiting for! Things we knew anyway, that green spaces, green and environmental features are better not just for the environment, but also make us better creative and more productive employees. The better we are, the better the space, the more the building is worth.

Nurick and Thatcher, via an extensive literature review, came to the conclusion that studies published “link[s] GBFIs [green building features and initiatives in office buildings] to increased individual productivity and organizational performance which results in increased building value, thus justifying the initial capital expenditure for the implementation of GBFIs.”
