If you find yourself in a temporary desk at a co-working site you can take steps to personalize your space.

You can wear a trace of scent to create a subtle olfactory bubble around yourself, for example.  If perfumes/colognes aren’t allowed where you work you can still experience smells by sucking on boiled sweets as you work – and sugar-free lemon drops will work as well as with-sugar ones to boost your performance, as long as the candies taste like lemon in your mouth, you’ll smell lemon with your nose.

You can, of course, add small images to the sides of your keyboard area so that you’ll be able to view them while your work.

Via headphones, you can also create a me-space with music or nature tracks.  Some places allow you to control temperatures, open windows, turn on and off lights, etc., as you work and doing that will help you establish a territory where you feel relaxed and comfortable, even if you’re in a different seat every day.
